Carrie Baird on Chelsea: Summer Shakeup?

I wish I was a certified FIFA agent like Carrie Baird*. I want to know the scoop before it everyone else. I want to be an insider. I want to be the guy that tells the world that the MLS is about to waste money on signing David Beckham. Sadly, though, I’m just a young, attractive male with nothing to lose, and my whole life in front of me. *sigh*

I’ve seen a couple tweets regarding this video. More specifically, people have been saying its bogus. Doubt it. Chelsea managers haven’t lasted but a few years under Roman Abramovich, the Special One included. In fact, Jose Mourinho had a shorter spell in West London than Rafa Benitez did at Liverpool. That should tell you something about Roman’s patience with his managers.

Also, when the dude in the midst of all the speculation (Carlo Ancelotti) comes out and says he dreams of the Roma job, you can’t help but think he’s on the way out. Couple that with reports that he wasn’t to thrilled or involved with the Torres acquisition, and it appears that the ownership and management at Chelsea are on two different wavelengths. Gee, what a surprise.
