If you’re worried for Bob Bradley’s physical safety, he wasn’t in attendance. If you’re worried for Bob Bradley’s occupation, that’s another thing.
Remember Heysel? The 1985 stadium disaster at the European Cup Final cost 39 Juventus fans their lives and resulted in UEFA banning all English clubs from European competitions for five years. Liverpool was banned for six.
However, the ban DID NOT apply to the England national team. So if a similar approach is taken against Egyptian clubs by the Confederation of African Football, Bradley and Team Egypt could be in the clear. Just Bob will have a very discouraged national pool to choose from. Woe is Egypt at the moment.
