US Soccer Goes Doc Style With ‘Behind The Crest’

This first nine-minute installment of the new ‘Behind the Crest’ documentary-esque series is great stuff. Looks like the dude’s behind HBO’s “24/7″ could’ve produced this. Super slo-mo, baritone voiceover and dubstep intro beats? This is the type of high quality, fly-on-the-wall video I’m talking about U.S. Soccer. Well done.

Ahead of Saturday’s friendly vs Scotland, next week’s v Brazil, and the upcoming World Cup qualifiers, Klinsmann seems to have these guys training like machines. Finely tuned American machines, running on German motor oil. Unless you’re Danny Williams, Terrence Boyd, or Jermaine Jones. In their case, German machines on German motor oil with American windshield wipers. Or something like that. Either way, I dig it.
