UEFA Champions League Holograms

I realize we may be a couple of days late on this, but let’s just pretend we were saving it to talk about the Champions League. For those of you that didn’t see on YouTube on Sunday night or weren’t 15 year olds/girls dressed as Native Americans in southern California, the Coachella music festival ended with a bang thanks to Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Co. Warren G, Kurupt, 50 Cent, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar all made appearances, but the biggest cameo was by none other than…Tupac Shakur!? Yeah, guys, we know, he’s dead, but they made a cool hologram of him, which wasn’t really a hologram. This got me thinking…what holograms would make a splash in this year’s semi-finals of the UCL?

Dave’s Weekly Thought; John Terry, Sponsored By The Letter R.

Racism In Football - Thirdkit.com

This week the letter R dominated the Beautiful Game.

It started at the Theatre of Dreams where the Noisy Neighbors routed The Other Manchester Club leaving Sir Alex red-faced and rummaging around for an answer. Having only decided this season to start speaking to the BBC again, he must have been so happy to face them after what was an astonishing display by The Manchesters.

City were rampant, United were rubbish and the manner of victory suggested that the power balance may be shifting from the Red to the Light Blue. Entirely possible, but too early to start making any assumptions along those lines.

Carrie Baird on Chelsea: Summer Shakeup?

Chelsea, Video No Comments by Sam Mathius

I wish I was a certified FIFA agent like Carrie Baird*. I want to know the scoop before it everyone else. I want to be an insider. I want to be the guy that tells the world that the MLS is about to waste money on signing David Beckham. Sadly, though, I’m just a young, [...]

Some Quality Teamsmanship

The wide world of Tennis has given TK another reason, other than Maria Sharapova,  to love the only sport that changes its surface for every major competition.  Just imagine if footy was played on grass in Germany ’06, Dirt in South Africa this year, the 37th Parallel in Korea/Japan back in 2002, sand for Brazil [...]

EPL Transfers: What Is and What Should Never Be (Part 1)

With a little over three weeks left before the transfer window closes and very little movement in the grossly inflated market, it’s time to assess what the teams in England have done, what they’re thinking of doing, why it’s probably dumb (or smart in a few cases), and why they should listen to what I [...]
